To vote in the school elections, you must be:

1. A United States citizen;
2. 18 years of age or older on the date of election;
3. A resident of the school district for at least 30 days prior to election day;
4. A registered voter.

Absentee ballots:

Upon proper application, any qualified voter, unable to vote in person on the day of the vote due to illness/physical disability, hospitalization, incarceration or travel outside of the county/city of residence, may apply; however, applications ​must be received by the district clerk at least 7 days before the election. To apply, call the district clerk at 762-8100 x319, email (browns@binghamtonschools.org) or come in person to 164 Hawley Street, 3rd Floor (Room 305C), Binghamton, NY.

NOTE: Per Education Law, voters registered as ‘permanently disabled’ with the Broome County Board of Elections Office will be mailed an Absentee Ballot without having to apply.
