School Board Meetings
The agenda and materials for board meetings are available to the public in Board Docs, which is accessible from the link in the left hand column. All you have to do is click Board Docs and then on "Enter Public Site".
The Board of Education is a public body and, as such, the Open Meetings Law requires school board meetings to be open to the public; however, public may be excluded from properly convened executive sessions and other meetings exempted under the law. Members of the public are welcomed and encouraged to attend and observe open meetings.
Board meetings are
generally
held monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. on the 3rd floor of the Columbus School located at 164 Hawley Street, Binghamton, NY, except where specifically noted in the schedule below.
There are two opportunities on the agenda for public comment, via Zoom.
However, public comments may not include matters involving privacy issues protected by law.
