BHS students become Eagle Scouts

Nathaniel Allen, Adam Deuel and Quinn Diehl have earned the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America and have been named Eagle Scouts. The three boys have been members of the troop since they were 7 years old and are now seniors at BHS. Each of the boys had to complete a major service project to become an Eagle Scout. Allen built movable walls for the town of Binghamton’s fire department training center. Deuel built a bench for a bus stop on Robinson Street in front of the Fairview United Methodist Church, and Diehl built and installed a GPS locator sign for Aqua Terra Park in Binghamton. Diehl’s locator will help rescuers locate sick or injured hikers at the park.
