Dear Binghamton Families,

Earlier this afternoon Broome County Executive Jason Garner declared a state of emergency in response to the coronavirus outbreak, which includes the closing of schools. The Binghamton City School district will be closed Monday, March 16 through Monday, April 13. This includes canceling all afterschool and extracurricular activities.

Meals will be provided to students through the age of 18 at each of our school locations, as well as at Columbus School, Carlisle Hills Apartments and Saratoga Heights between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. The specific locations at each site will be posted on the district web-site and communicated through an additional email.

Information regarding resources for students to remain academically engaged and connected to the school community is forthcoming. We remain committed to our students and staff and thank all who continue to support our students.
