BCSD Middle Schools Update for Week of Jan. 10-14
We are writing with an update regarding our plans to provide instruction for middle school students next week. Unfortunately, our district continues to be negatively impacted by a COVID-related bus driver shortage. Since we are currently unable to transport all students to both East and West Middle schools, we have created the following plan which is equitable for both schools:
Monday, Jan. 10 & Tuesday, Jan. 11 - East Middle students will partake in in-person learning; West students will engage in remote instruction.
Wednesday, Jan. 12 & Thursday, Jan. 13 -West Middle students will partake in in-person learning; East students will engage in remote instruction.
After-school activities will continue as usual, and lunches will be available for pickup during the usual lunch hour on remote-instruction days.
We will provide an update on Wednesday, Jan. 12 as to our plans for Friday, Jan. 14 and beyond. Please be assured that we will resume full in-person learning at both buildings as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued patience and support.
