PUBLIC NOTICE: Use of Pesticides
The Binghamton City School District periodically applies pesticides to grounds throughout both the school year and/or summer school. Our district pesticide representative is:

We are required to maintain a list of all persons who wish to receive a 48-hour prior written notification of pesticide applications at all locations. If you wish to be placed on the list for prior notification of any pesticide applications, please contact us at 762-8348.
The Binghamton City School District periodically applies pesticides as part of its IPM (integrated past management) program. We are required to maintain a list of all persons who wish to receive a 48 hour prior written notification of any pesticide applications. If you wish to be placed on this list, please send the information requested below, in writing, to:

Requests for notification are saved only for the current school calendar year. A new request must be made each school calendar year for continued notification. Please include in your request the following information:

Written notice of any pesticide application will be mailed to you at the address provided. You must notify us of any address change by filling out a new notification form to continue to be on the registry.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Asbestos Compliance
Any questions regarding asbestos compliance to the Federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) can be directed to Mario Lisi, District LEA at 762- 8348.
BCSD has completed the inspection of its buildings in accordance with the laws regarding asbestos as a potential health hazard for students, employees, and visitors. Also, a management plan has been developed in compliance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act, which includes training of maintenance staff for safe handling, periodic re-inspection, surveillance, and limited abatement by trained personnel. A copy of this management plan is available upon request by contacting Mario Lisi at 607-762-8348.
