Binghamton staff remember Traci Simrell

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our community, and our school community is no exception. We are mourning the tremendous loss of our friend and colleague, Traci Simrell who died in December.
Simrell was a talented and dedicated early childhood educator who taught Pre-K at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School. On Friday, Jan. 15, her Franklin family, Superintendent Dr. Tonia Thompson, and others across the district wore special T-shirts, which were made in honor of Simrell. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her students and colleagues.
