The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) announced a partnership with the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, and New York Jets to launch a pilot for girls flag football this spring.
Six sections, including Binghamton’s Section IV, have committed to teams participating in the pilot. Teams will play 6-8 games, and the season will run from April through the end of May. The NYSPHSAA hopes that girls flag football will move from a pilot program to “emerging sport” next spring.
