
Ben Franklin Elementary School will welcome families to a Parent Engagement Night on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The event will begin at 4:30 p.m., with a parent meeting on the school's receivership status. The purpose of this public hearing is to present to Franklin families the latest information on the school's accountability status, the student performance measures considered, and the requirements established by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
At 5 p.m., families will have the opportunities to meet the teachers and learn about their child's curriculum for the school year. At 5:30 p.m., guests will enjoy hot dogs and ice cream.
