The Broome County Health Department has approved the district’s plan to participate in Interscholastic Athletics. The Broome County Health Department has issued protocols and procedures we must follow to be able to participate.
We plan to begin the Fall Sports Season on Monday, March 1, 2021. All students in grades 7 through 12 interested in participating in fall sports can use the links below to sign up for each sport or to contact the coaches:
Girls Volleyball
Girls Soccer
Cheerleading
Cross Country
Girls Tennis
Golf
Girls Swim
Boys Soccer
Football
The protocols that the district has put into place for all sports and the plan approved by the Broome County Health Department include COVID-19 testing to keep your child safe while participating in sports. All students intending to participate must have a physical on file and a completed health history form (which can be completed on-line). A consent form for testing should also be completed.
We are eager to offer these opportunities to our student-athletes. However, maintaining the safety of our student-athletes, coaches and staff is our priority. A Zoom meeting was held with all of the fall coaches to review safety protocols for sports. Your coaches will be setting up your parent meeting via Zoom. At that time, they will review all safety protocols dealing with your sport and specific team.
If you have additional questions regarding athletics, please contact Karen Yeager at [email protected] or David Garbarino at [email protected].
