Therapy Dog at Wilson Making Positive Impact on Students

Therapy Dogs are being utilized more and more in educational settings to help with stress relief.

In Binghamton, students in Dana Ingerson's music class at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School enjoy her therapy dog Brayleigh. Ingerson rescued Brayleigh as a therapy dog as she was battling breast cancer.

"Three years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and my animals were huge in helping me get through all of that," said music teacher Dana Ingerson. "I met the group that we are now a part of my journey, and I've always wanted to have a therapy dog."
